The ACS Beirut Alumni Association
Our purpose as an association is to serve our alumni and community through reunions, local gatherings, community-building opportunities, and fundraising efforts that support the school and alumni association. Being an ACS Beirut alumnus means cherishing unforgettable memories from our formative years in Beirut, Lebanon, whether they are recent or distant.

The Legacy of Our Triennial Reunions
Since 1982, ACS alumni have gathered every three years in ever-increasing numbers to reminisce and celebrate their shared experiences at ACS.
In the early years, most attendees were American expatriates, children of overseas company employees, missionaries, or diplomats. Many of them had lived in the Boarding Department (B.D.), which unfortunately closed during the Lebanese Civil War. Having spent virtually every moment with their fellow students, the desire to reconnect with old friends became paramount, especially since most had scattered across the globe after leaving ACS.
With the majority of alumni residing in the U.S. prior to 1990, the newly formed Alumni Association decided to host reunions in various cities across the United States. Recognizing the small and intimate class sizes at ACS, the Association welcomed anyone who had ever been part of the ACS community to these reunions. Typically, these events attract 250-300 alumni along with their guests.
As ACS now welcoming an increasingly international student body, we aspire to expand future reunions to international destinations, making it easier for our global alumni to join in the tradition.
